I’m Back!
I took a little sabbatical from the blog over the summer but I am back and publishing again. A lot is going on in the mortgage business, as usual, and I will start posting again immediately.

I do not think it is a Presidential issue as much as it is a bank issue. The government is making a lot of noice with new programs and supposed bail out programs but in the end they are not the money. The investors and Wall Street are key to funding these programs and at this point they are not making funds easy to get. The big challenge is that lenders are not really in the lending game at the moment. It sounds crazy but it is true. When the banking credit crisis ebbs and gets farther behind us we will see a change in lender attitudes and the mortgage world may get easier.
